I have uploaded the scans to flickr, tumblr couldn’t handle the size. To translate the whole interview would take some time but here some interesting bits.
Q What else do you fancy musically?
MG At the moment mainly Hanni El-Khatib, quite rough, hard rock’n’roll with strong blues influences. And I just listened to all records that have been said to be the best of 2011 like the latest album by Tom Waits.
Q So the next 2 VCMG albums are already in the making?
MG Possibly. But for that we would first have to check our diaries.
Q VCMG stands not only for your names
MG Yes, it’s an insider joke which hardly anyone will understand. VCMG stands for “Voltage Control Modulation Generator”. And this fitted also with our names.
Q What do you plan next? A project with Alan Wilder, the other ex-member of DM?
MG (laughs) Don’t know. I do indeed have much more and closer contact to Alan as ever before. That’s why he also played at the end of our last tour with us at the RAH. And when he played close to LA I joined as dj.
